Central Winds Park
Central Winds Park is a 103-acre complex that consists of two full-sized softball fields, two baseball fields, three lacrosse fields and one football field with goal posts. The park is a two-time recipient of the “Fields of Excellence” award for its well maintained fields and beautiful landscape that surrounds the park, which includes sparkling Lake Jesup and a nature trail. During 2006, a total of 2,600 games were played at Central Winds Park with nearly 130,000 participants and spectators, making this one of the most notable facilities in Orlando North. The complex is home to several Babe Ruth baseball and softball tournaments, as well as national youth baseball AAU tournaments that are held annually.
